Tami Duncan is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the
LIA Foundation (Lyme Induced Autism Foundation) located in Corona, CA.
The foundation focuses on education, awareness and research into the connection
between Lyme disease and autism.
She co-founded this organization after both
she and her son with autism were diagnosed with Lyme disease.
She wanted a
place where parents could go to learn from doctors about the many treatment
options available and educate parents on the other infections which may be
hampering improvement in their autistic children.
Tami is the host of an online radio show called “The
Lyme-Autism Connection” on Autism One Radio. She is the author of several
articles and editorials published in the Lyme Times, Public Health Alert and
the Townsend Letter.
Tami is also the meeting co-coordinator for the Inland
Empire Chapter of TACA (Talk About Curing Autism).
Tami is the marketing director for West Coast Fund Raising
and finally, she is most recently the Girl Scout troop leader for her daughters
Daisy troop.
